The Holston & Inez Robinson Scholarship

Father Duenas Memorial School (FD) is proud to announce The Holston & Inez Robinson Scholarship available for the 2016-2017 academic year. This scholarship was created and funded by Dr. Tom Robinson, in honor of his parents, Holston and Inez Robinson. 

The Holston & Inez Robinson Scholarship is a competitive scholarship, established to provide financial support to our most deserving students who have demonstrated financial need and shown academic improvement while at FD. 

For academic year 2016-2017, The Holston & Inez Robinson Scholarship will award a total amount of $2000.00. The number of recipients and the award amount per recipient will be determined by the scholarship's selection committee.

In order to be considered for this scholarship the applicant must:

1. Be registered as a FD junior or senior student for the coming school year
2. Has attended FD for at least two full years.
3. Demonstrate an improvement in GPA over the past two years.
4. Demonstrate academic excellence by maintaining no less than a 2.5 grade point average in his last two quarters of school
5. Complete and submit the Common Scholarship Application on or before Friday, July 15, 2016.  Click here for a downloadable version of the FD Common Scholarship Application. The Common Scholarship Application is also available at the FD administration office.
6. Complete the Financial Aid Application through FACTS* on or before Friday, July 15, 2016.  Click here to sign up for the online FACTS* application now.

Students are not eligible if they are currently receiving another scholarship to attend FD.  

Submitting an application does not guarantee a scholarship award.  Final scholarship awards are determined by the scholarship's selection committee.

A FDMS student who applies for this scholarship one year is welcome to apply for the scholarship in subsequent years as long as he continues to meet the scholarship requirements.
