FDMS Student Council joined with KUAM Care force to participate in the "Giving Tuesday" movement, a global event in which schools, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to make some sort of contribution that will help their community.
The Friars celebrated the hard work and success of the Football team who secure their third straight Championship title this season going undefeated for the third consecutive season. Two players in particular had the honor of having their jersey number retired. No friar will wear the numbers 24 or 6 again in FDMS history. They now belong to Running back De'Aundre Cruz and Quarter back Daniel Phillips.
The Father Duenas Alumni Association hosted the 2nd annual Lights, Camera, Auction event at the Hyatt regency hotel on Friday November 17th. The night was filled with fun and responsible drinking for the adults. Donations were given by generous organizations and alumni. The items auctioned off varied in size, use, and price.
On Thursday, November 9th, FD had its annual Career Day. The Father Duenas community reached out to a number of people who presented their career to students who were interested. As usual, the students of had a great experience learning more about what they are looking forward to doing in the future. This year’s Career Day was a great success and the community of FD is looking forwards to another eventful one next year.
