In celebration of Catholic Schools Week, the student body was tasked to write an essay on "What do you appreciate the most about attending FDMS".

"FDMS Chaplain encourages students to tie up the loose ends at the heels of 3rd Quarter and towards the end of the schoolyear. Fr Efren commends the efforts of the students that propelled them to excel in academics, sports and other activities so far, while he persuades them to implement strategic plans to complete requirements."

Guam Studies Teacher Anthony Blas and Senior Lazaro Quinata researched the tragic death of the Chamorro sailor who died during the Normandy Invasion of World War II. They presented their findings at the University of Guam Lecture Hall on January 27, 2016.

In conjunction with Catholic Schools Week, FD teachers and staff were recognized for their years of dedicated service to the school. Congratulations and thank you for all the hard work you do.

The Humanities Department held the annual Guam History Day contest here at FD and was open to all the grade levels. The contestants were judged by the faculty and teachers.
