There are many talented freshmen from Father Duenas that travel to the United States for college. Stanford University allows incoming freshmen to recognize teachers that have supported, guided and prepared them for college. Mr. Daniel Boeding, a 10th grade Geometry teacher has been awarded the Teacher Tribute Initiative by Stanford University.
This past summer each incoming freshman class were given the opportunity to acknowledge one teacher or mentor who played a significant role in their intellectual, academic, social and personal development. This year, Edward “Nainoa” Calvo ‘15 nominated Mr. Daniel Boeding, to receive this special honor.
Mr. Daniel Boeding will receive a packet that includes a letter and certificate recognizing his significant role. Since Mr. Boeding has made a meaningful impact on the many lives and education of the students at Father Duenas Memorial School he will be acknowledged by every single person affiliated with FDMS on behalf of the former student and Stanford University.
