NHS Volunteers for Tennis Fundraiser

Last Friday, January 20, the NHS Duenas Chapter helped in the preparation for the Guaiya Todu Rally for a Cure Tennis Fundraiser. Working a long 5pm to nearly midnight shift, The Friars made sure everything was ready for the event the following day by setting up signs and banners, cleaning the court, and creating such symbolic ribbons made of pink tennis balls. Guaiya Todu— a charity-based organization whose mission is to promote the benefit of tennis to girls and women of all ages, raised more than $20,000 at their event. Thanks to our NHS chapter, this event was a success and we hope for many more service opportunities to come.
