The annual Island wide Guam History Day competition was held on March 5, 2016 at UOG. The day long event entails our students participating in interviews to defend their entries.
After numerous rounds, the judges made their final decisions and our students represented our school with distinction. LaVonne Guerrero-Meno, event coordinator sent a letter to Fr. Jeff San Nicolas to acknowledge our student accomplishments. Ms. Guerrero-Meno recognized that our students placed in every category and those who finished first might be eligible to repesent the island at the National History Day competition at the University of Maryland.
Lastly, Ms. Guerrero-Meno announced that Mr. Anthony Blas was selected as Guam History Day 2016 Teacher of the Year, High School Division. He will be competing with the students at the National History Day competitions at the University of Maryland.
