31st Guam Youth Congress

On On Saturday, November 19, 2016, the representatives-elect of the 31st Guam Youth Congress (GYC) took their oath of office. They, along with several key officials observed the swearing in of members. Some key officials include: The Honorable Robert J. Torres, Senator Frank Aguon, Senator Michael San Nicolas, Jermaine Alerta, and Lawrence Jay Alcairo (former Youth Speaker).  Father Duenas Memorial School currently has 3 students, one of which represents the school itself. The members coming from Father Duenas are: Matthew Makepeace (Dededo), Ethan Perez (Dededo), and Johnny Rosario (Father Duenas). A FD student also went on to become a committee chair; Representative Matthew Makepeace becoming the chairman of the Committee on Economic Development, Labor, and Tourism.
