Father Duenas Memorial School began the Chamorro language class on August 11. Mr. Cody Lizama teaches twenty or more students how to speak, write, and read in Chamorro. Before the beginning of the class they sang the Guam Hymn, recited the Inifresi, and prayed all in Chamorro. According to Mr. Lizama, the class is about the Chamorro lifestyle, and it is good that Father Duenas has this class because there are too many Chamorro that don't know their own language too well. We are very happy because of the interests of these students in the Chamorro language. If you would like to join this class, please call Father Duenas Memorial School at 734-2261. Thank you!
