It all started with a How-to-Essay paper assigned by Mrs. Jovita Manzanilla in her literature class. With sheer determination and immense ingenuity the hands of the Class of 2022 transformed those words in paper into an exquisite project. It is finally Christmas season, and the freshmen depicted their hidden abilities in crafts and art by creating a lantern from scratch. The main objective for this project was to accentuate environmental awareness with the recycled materials the freshmen used to compose their final products. Such materials encompassed water bottles, straws, cups, and etc. Displayed around the campus, the lanterns waved in incandescence, giving an aura of hope and brilliance to one’s Christmas season.
Ten judges went inside Q1055 to rank the Christmas lanterns based on its originality, creativity, and the utilization of recycled media.
Congratulations to Sean Cuenco, Calvin Cabuhat, Jose Egurrola for topping the competition. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!
