Every school year, the FDMS Administration and Student Council coordinates with business and academic professionals to share their knowledge in their respective fields. Students attend breakout sessions that provide useful information regarding career choices and the necessary training to enter the work force.
Over 35 experts have been invited to share thier personal experiences to begin a career in aviation, medicine, engineering, law, performing arts, law enforcement, information technology, accounting, health specialties, physical therapy, military, history, K-12 Education, higher education, Catholic Vocation, and archaeology.
Students attending these sessions will learn valuable lessons of the needed training, dedication and schooling to excel in the field of their choice. Each student will select three career choices to explore their interests and curiosities in fields they know little about. Each 50 minute session will allow the presenter to speak on what it took to enter their respective field, their daily work routine, and answer student questions.
Father Duenas has a proud tradition of the brotherhood. This year's career day will have over 20 alumni sharing their experiences and offering advice to their fellow Friars.
