Fr. Efren Adversario, School Chaplain, wants to inform parents of our Freshman Class that your sons will participate in a Day of Prayer together as a class on October 15, 2015 at Yigo Church.

Homeroom teachers will send out permission slips for your signature to allow your son to participate on this Day of Prayer. A standard fee of $20.00 per student will cover transportation to and from school, snacks and lunch for the day. Your son will be given the slip on Thursday, and we expect them to be submitted back on Monday, 12 October 2015. Please help us remind your son regarding the importance of this day.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT GATHERING AT THE BOYS' CHAPEL. Campus Ministry will initiate this activity for parents to share faith and family concerns. We will include various areas of interest such as Scriptures, Current Church Issues, Family Interaction, School Issues, etc as part of the curriculum.

Fr. Efren emphasizes that this is a parent activity and that discussions will be driven by parent interest. It means that if there is no interest, there is no sense in continuing this visio. In order to estimate the number of interested parties, please email him at frefren@fatherduenas.com. Our discussions will be tailored according to the needs of the parents so it will be helpful to let him know what issues we can initially talk about and move on from there.

We hope to use this forum to strengthen the relationships between parents of FD students. You, our parents, are the driving force for our students to excel in school and for our teachers to do excelent work in all that we do. God bless you always.
