Financial Information (SY 2025 - 2026)

Grants

A grant provides financial assistance to qualified families demonstrating financial need, the amount of the award being dependent upon need as well as the resources available. While not all students may qualify for a grant, other assistance programs may be available to families who desire an FD education for their son.

Scholarships

Several scholarships are available to incoming and current FD students. The number of scholarships for FD students is grows year to year.  

Male students who were the valedictorians or salutatorians in the previous school year receive tuition discounts of 50% and 25% respectively.

Applying for financial assistance is separate from our admission process. Students must be admitted into FD before applying for the assistance. The FD Common Scholarship Application and the FACTS Application are used for both grants and scholarships. Tuition, Fees, and Payment Options

Registration Fee (Non Refundable) | $525.00

Returning students have the first opportunity to register for the upcoming school year by submitting the necessary registration forms and making full payment of the registration fee on a first come first served.  Registering earlier assists FD in preparing for the coming school year and increases the likelihood of the student enrolling in his desired electives courses since these are filled on a first come first serve basis.  Additionally, prompt registration offers the lowest registration fee available.  Registration indicates agreement of parents, guardians, and students to accept the most current rules and policies in effect. 

Annual Tuition | $8,250.00

The annual tuition for school year 2025-2026 is inclusive of operational, instructional, laboratory, building maintenance and development fund fees. In previous years, these various fees were due at different times of the year. At the request of parents and to simplify our business operations, they have been incorporated into our annual tuition.  Excluding fees required of all students, annual tuition alone is $6,550.00. 

Discounts

• Full tuition payment before July 16, 2025, will result in a $350 discount.
• Discounts are available for families with more than one son.
• Discounts are available to valedictorians or salutatorians in the previous school year receive tuition discounts of 50% and 25% respectively.

Other fees may be required during the school year based on the student’s grade level as well as participation in clubs, activities and sports. These may include the following:
