Facilities

The FDMS campus consists of a number of facilities designed to support the academic, athletic, and spiritual development of our students. Its first ever buildings were simple Quonset huts, which were gradually replaced by permanent structures over the years. Our campus has evolved through several renovations and expansions, ensuring that our historic buildings meet the modern needs of the student body.

The Quad 

Built in 1995, the Quad serves as a central hub for the Administration and Business Offices. It also hosts six classrooms and two biology labs, most of which primarily serve freshmen classes.

The Lockwoods 

Unique for their solid timber lined interiors and pitched roofs, the Lockwood buildings boast character and charm. Our row of six were added in 1993 to expand classroom capacity. They host several upperclassmen classes.

The Cafeteria Building

As the oldest structure on campus, this building has served many roles, including housing classrooms and the original school chapel. Its cafeteria has been recently renovated into a state-of-the-art dining hall called "The Refectory." The Chemistry & Physics labs and 4 other classrooms are housed in this building.

The Media Center 

Acquired in 2011, this versatile space provides students with access to the library, computer labs, and a multipurpose mini theater for presentations and small productions. It also houses the "Deep Friar" kitchen, which supports our culinary arts program.

The Jungle

Affectionately named by our alumni, the "old gym" continues to serve as a primary athletic space for our PE classes and sports teams. It was updated in 2016 with a new roof, modern lighting, and a brand-new floor.

The Phoenix Center

Completed in 2007, this multipurpose facility hosts athletic competitions, concerts, and theatrical productions. It features professional sound and lighting systems, weight rooms, and additional classrooms.

The Boys’ Chapel

Designed by former FDMS Art Teacher Chito Santos, The Boys' Chapel finished construction and was dedicated in 2014. Our beautiful chapel provides a dedicated, sacred space for personal reflection and communal worship.

Facility Reservations

FDMS facilities are often host to many events throughout the school year. The Phoenix Center, The Jungle, The Boys' Chapel, The Refectory, and school mini-theater are available to private and public parties for usage reservations. Please note that FDMS organizations and affiliated parties have priority to access and scheduling.
