From the Campus Minister

Welcome to a new chapter in your academic and spiritual lives!  As we begin the new school year let us call on the Holy Spirit to guide us in all our endeavors.  Be confident in the guidance of your parents, teachers, counselors, administrators, school leaders, personnel, and coaches, they will help to build you a strong foundation in faith and in integrity!  We are here to encourage you to persevere in your academic and spiritual obstacles.

As your Campus Minister I am here to help create a spiritual environment, to be an advocate for your moral growth, to guide you through your journey here at FDMS and beyond the halls of Dueñas.
I look forward to listening to you and working with you here on campus and in our island community. I encourage you to stop by the Campus Ministry room when you would like to talk or even just to say hello. Let us make this year an awesome one!

Eucharistic Liturgies

Schoolwide Masses are celebrated on holy days of obligation and significant events at The Phoenix Center. These Masses are often open to members of the FDMS community; including, but not limited to parents, family, and alumni. Smaller Masses celebrated at The Boys' Chapel are often sponsored by student groups and sports teams. Students are additionally invited to participate in liturgical ministries and choir.

Retreats

Retreat opportunities are an integral component of our student experience. All students are encouraged to participate in their respective class retreats or pilgrimages.

Reconciliation Services

Campus Ministry offers opportunities for members of the school community to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Individual confessions are often held before schoolwide Masses.
