The Noel Bien Carlos Scholarship

Father Dueñas Memorial School (FDMS) is proud to announce The Noel Bien Carlos Scholarship. The scholarship is open to any student who is interested in attending Father Dueñas Memorial School.

This scholarship was created and funded by Dr. and Mrs. Ramel A. Carlos, M.D., in honor of their son, Noel Bien Carlos, FDMS Class of 2014.  The Noel Bien Carlos Scholarship is a competitive scholarship, established to provide financial support to our most deserving students who are good citizens, who have demonstrated financial need and who have the academic ability to excel in their studies at FDMS. 

The Noel Bien Carlos Scholarship will award a total of $2750.00. The number of recipients will be determined by the scholarship's selection committee.

In order to be considered for this scholarship the applicant must:

1. Be accepted as a FDMS student for the coming school year
2. Demonstrate academic excellence by maintaining no less than a 3.2 grade point average in his last two years of school
3. Complete and submit the Common Scholarship Application on or before July 15.  Click here for a downloadable version of the FD Common Scholarship Application. The Common Scholarship Application is also available at the FDMS administration office.
4. Complete the Financial Aid Application through FACTS* on or before July 15.  Click here to sign up for the online FACTS* application now.

Students are not eligible if they are currently receiving another scholarship to attend FDMS.  

Submitting an application does not guarantee a scholarship award.  Final scholarship awards are determined by the scholarship's selection committee.

A FDMS student who applies for this scholarship one year is welcome to apply for the scholarship in subsequent years as long as he continues to meet the scholarship requirements.
