Father Dueñas Memorial School had their annual Songfest event on March 18, 2017. The event started off with amazing performances from Skip Entertainment Co. An excellent start to the evening was soon followed by a spectacular show from the Freshmen. Usually the underdog when it comes to this event, the Class of 2020 amazed everyone with wonderful choreography and hilarious videography. By the end of their performance, it was obvious that the bar was set high for the other classes to surpass. The Freshmen Class of 2020 earned 211.9 points out of 300 for their performance. The Junior Class of 2018 came soon after with another amazing performance. While it did not meet the quality shown by the Freshmen Class of 2020 in the judge’s eyes, they did come out with a unique and spectacular performance that was still enjoyable to watch. The Junior Class of 2018 earned 175.1 points out of 300 for their performance. The Senior Class of 2017 came out with an amazing performance that was not only enjoyable to watch but had amazing choreography and an excellent original song to boot. Their energy on the stage emanated to the crowd and it definitely seemed like the crowd had enjoyed their performance as much as the Seniors had enjoyed dancing it for them. The Senior Class of 2017 came out with the win and a total of 233.4 points out of 300. The Sophomore Class of 2019 was the final act and 170.1 points out of 300.
