Rear Admiral Gumataotao Visits FD

Finishing off our first full week of classes here at FD was a great experience for our boys, Admiral Peter Gumataotao added inspiration to this experience.

An FD Class of 1976 Alumnus, Rear Admiral Gumataotao came at the request of his godson, Cadet Aaron Gumataotao from the class of 2020, to visit his NJROTC Unit. Honoring this request the admiral made a great impression with his short visit to the school.

Admiral Gumataotao congratulated the best NJROTC Unit in the area and recognized the great mentorship of Col. Ron Eisel and Master Chief Val Separa. Both men have helped contribute to the success of our Phoenix Company.

We are very proud of our FD NJROTC program as they prepare our young boys to go out into the world to make a difference.
