Students in the Social Studies and Guam Studies classes, participated in the FD Guam History Day competition last week. This year's theme is "Taking a Stand in History." Students picked a topic in Guam history that sparked their interest and interpreted how their topic resembles the theme of the competition.
Categories included: exhibits, websites, documentaries, research papers and performances.
Those students who place in the top tier of each category, this year, will move on the island-wide History Day competition on March 25, 2017 and, if successful, win an opportunity to represent Guam in the annual National History Day competition.
